This is a very solid inverter generator, with full features and even has a remote start/stop key fob.  I will use it for my Lance travel trailer and the 4500-watt surge rating is perfect for starting up the AC even with other items running in the trailer.  It also has the convenience of dual fuel which I would like to sort out how to connect it to the port on my trailer.  
It is much quieter than the 4000w competitor inverter/generator that I am replacing.   My drivers for seeking a better inverter/generator were noise, surge watts, and run time.  The Westinghouse unit exceeds my expectations for all 3.

I just brought the IGen5000DFc and I like it because of the electric start, the Dual Fuel capacity and the power it provides for my needs. The Fob was a good add on and the USB ports and the color blue really impressed the wife. The weight was a little heavy but the handle helps but so far it's a good buy.

I was at a farm event and seen one and it was so quite, I decided right at that time I was going to purchase one, Once I received the Generator went through all of the start up procedures and once started it up It was so easy to come on line and yes it was so quite.

Quite and easy start

Purchased the iGen2500DF 3-years ago for use with our Lance Camper as we traveled across country. It worked perfectly allowing us all the necessary comforts. Now just purchased the iGen5000DF to use with our larger 5th wheel and other family outdoor activities. Like all Westinghouse generators, they are amazingly quiet and hearty, while extremely easy to use.

Great generator

Have only given the unit a 30 minute test run powering our travel trailer. Started easily, remote and pull start both worked well. So far, so good. Can’t justify a higher rating until we’ve load tested on an extended off grid camping trip but based on other reviews, I think we’ll be pleased.

Runs great, quiet, easy to start. The main downfall is that it is difficult to get to where the drain plug is for the oil. You need to have very small hand. Also, we would very much like to see the availability of the BERG cap for the gas cans. Aside from that so far so good. Loving that you can change from gas to propane easily.

Almost excellent!

Worked well for 5 hour’s yesterday. Easy to start manually. Electric start snd remote did not work, I think battery lost charge. But worked with propane and gasoline, able to keep my fridge, freezer and sump pump going on.
Only problem, when I tried to restart before storing today,, unable to get it started. Trying to figure out the issue.

Nice product, very useful on a stormy blackout

I bought this about a month ago and just began to use it. It’s suffers from the same problem most people have out of the box with the choke issue. I’m debating on whether or not to return it and start all over again but I fear that I will end up having this problem as most do. You would think that by now they would have solve this issue since it’s a clear manufacturing production defect. Still powers everything great. I don’t truly regret it I just wish this thing would run the way that it supposed to without having to need to return it orDo the work myself to correct the problem. I feel I should be giving some sort of discount for having to deal with this

Runs awful out of the box

I ordered and paid for an i500DF Generator and twice received i4500 DF. The boxes read i4500 DF but the little scan stickers on the box read i5000 DF. No one at Sam’s Club could explain why this kept happening. Finally gave up and ordered from Lowe’s. Lowe’s was cheaper and can deliver the correct product. Probably won’t ever order from Sam’s Club again. Sam’s Club online customer service is in the Philippines. Good luck on communication! Right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing!

Ordered and received wrong product twice!
