Shipping was fast, got it and tried it on my st switch it would not work called Westinghouse they said it was probably the controller modular they are sending a new one. I have a 7500 Westinghouse it works great. I just have to wait and see if the part works on the 9500 when I get it. But all in all, these generators are verry well-built and work great.

Great generator

Purchased after beryl just to be better prepared. Hooked it up to the house and performed break in on it. It powered everything in the house without any issues. I did not turn on my 5 ton AC but I will try once I install a soft start on the unit

Did the job as expected

The whole packaging and shipping was great, not a scratch nor issue whatsoever for it to arrive to the cabin.

The best part of this is that it started with one pull since charging the battery to allow it to charge up. Then after the charge, the push button start was basically instant. The remote start is my favorite feature of all!!!

Dual fuel too? OMG, best thing ever, imagine having a 1500 gallon propane tank topped off once a year? What I’ll do is refill my extra five gallon or 25 gallon tanks!

I’m building a generator room with tons of louvers and roof vents for airflow. And the exhaust side will have aluminum around the whole wall to ensure no fires happen a lot of flame resistant sprays all throughout.

Best Investment for a Generator

I live in southern NJ and we experience frequent, random power outages and the past winter was severe. We lost power for three days and we decided we were long overdue for a generator. I did some research and spoke with a few electricians and decided on a Westinghouse 9500. I ordered it online, it was well packaged and easy to assemble, just the wheels and legs. The manuals are clear, and the control panel is easy to read. Solid frame, heavy but easy to move around. Started up without a problem. I'm prepared for the next power outage.

I just bought this generator after a rough winter of power outages. I am a very small woman and it was so easy to lift it to its side and put the wheels on so I could easily transfer it to my garage after delivery. I was worried it would be too heavy but it's totally moveable by me and my 108lb/5' frame! It has the CO protector and a remote control. I feel so much better having this ready to go!

We feel secure in knowing we have this quality generator by Westinghouse. Prior to purchasing we read reports and reviews. This generator had very high reviews and excellent performance records. The extra benefit of gas/propane makes this model even more impressive. We rest assured that our power will remain consistent in the event of power outages.

I bought this about a week ago, I set it up and started running it it runs really well. I like the fact that it runs on propane as I live on the water and gasoline is not the best fuel to use here. So far the generator runs really well and has more power than I need but that's good,  really like the remote start that will come in handy in inclement weather.

Good product, meets my expectations

I do new product design; this is a very well designed unit.  The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is because it "appears" that the propane intake nozzle is metric thread and not SAE.  I still need to verify; but I purchased a long propane hose and it will not screw on.  Other than that; this is one solid, thoughtfully designed unit.  I would definitely buy it again.

Well designed

I am very disappointed in their service department . The first try out of the box IT DID NOT START . I am using LP and all it does is backfire (yes went thru the book for trouble shooting), so called to get a tech they said within 24 to 48 hours will be contacted LOL !! didn't happen . Being nice and shinny and new doesn't cut it if it won't run . I would have not written this review if I would have gotten the help I deserve . Was it in the reject pile and I just happened to draw the short straw and get it . Still waiting on that call.
